Hi! My name is Kate and I am an avid crafter. I am 26 and live in Northern California. I am an accountant at a legal copy service company. I have been cross stitching since I was about 12 years old…so for over half of my life. I started crocheting a few years ago and have added that to my repertoire. Then, this year (2015), I decided to take up quilting and discovered a new love.
Aside from crafting, I love to read. I sometimes blog about books (on a separate blog). I am also perhaps too much of a tv addict. It is usually what I am doing while I am stitching. My one hobby/addiction, that I cannot do while stitching is watch soccer (association football). I am a HUGE fan of the German National Team and the club Bayern Munich which is in the German Bundesliga. To say I am addicted to it is to put it lightly. I am not a morning bird by any stretch of the imagination, but for Bayern Munich, I will wake up to watch a match that is at 6:30 on a Saturday morning. Of course, once it is over, I promptly go back to sleep, but I am a huge supporter of my team. I get so caught up in the game and what is happening that I cannot stitch during that match. However, any other show on means that my crafts are also out.
